Modern Art…Cars…in Popular Culture MPR
Marvin Memorial Library 29 W. Whitney Ave., Shelby, OHJoin Matthew Donahue from The Ohio Humanities for a night of car talk, highlighting the modern art and outsider art movement of the art car and how the art car is intrinsically linked to popular culture. An art car is a modern art movement in which artists use the automobile as a canvas for artistic expression.
Walking Club
Marvin Memorial Library 29 W. Whitney Ave., Shelby, OHWe'll meet in the lobby every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for Walking Club. Wear comfortable clothes/walking shoes and we'll walk for approximately one hour. Feel free to wear wrist or ankle weights and bring a water bottle. If we have bad weather, or it is cold, we will follow an indoor walking video.
