Get Involved

Volunteer

We are always looking for community members who would like to get more involved with the library. In addition to shelving books, volunteers assist with the many programs we offer, from children’s and teens’ activities, to hospitality for invited speakers. Participating in outreach programs such as Homebound, can be very rewarding. Special projects, such as scanning archives, are also great ways to get involved.

Donate

Marvin Memorial Library accepts monetary donations for the purchase of library materials. The Friends of the Library accept donations of gently used books and current year magazines for their book sales.

Join the Friends of the Library

Join the Friends of the Library by submitting a form located in the Lobby, along with the dues. Individual membership – $2.00, family – $5.00, patron – $10.00. The Friends of Marvin Memorial Library meet the second Thursday in January, April, July, and October at 3 p.m.

The Friends sponsor two book sales a year and some fundraisers.
