May is shaping up to be an exciting and creative month here in Ohio as we proudly take part in America250-Ohio Creates: Arts, Culture & Literature theme. This special statewide initiative inspires much of our programming, and you’ll see the theme woven throughout many of our events—alongside all of the engaging programs you already know and love.
Families can look forward to unforgettable children’s events like Story Time Prom and a fun-filled Bluey Carnival, designed to spark imagination and celebrate creativity. For adults, we’re offering a unique opportunity to go Inside the Maestro’s Mind with award-winning composer Sean Beeson, who will share insight into his musical process and creative journey.
The highlight of the month will be our Summer Reading Kick-Off Party, taking place in the Kerr Garden Room on Saturday, May 30. The Summer Reading theme this year is Unearth a Story! This all-ages celebration will feature street magic from Magician Magic Nate, along with music, games, and snacks courtesy of our Friends Group. It’s the perfect time to sign up for Summer Reading and get inspired for a season full of stories and discovery.
