February is Love Your Library Month, and we are excited to celebrate with a variety of programs and events for all ages. You can show your support by visiting the library, volunteering, participating in activities, and sharing your love of the library on social media.
This month includes our Winter Reading program with chances to win prizes, Take Your Child to the Library Day on February 21, and fun opportunities like the Marvin 500 Pinewood Derby and the Tiny Art Show.
Adults still have time to register for our six-week boating course to prepare for a safe summer on the water. Adults are also invited to three free special events during the week of February 23, featuring presentations on the New Washington Hatchery Industry, the National Bird, and the History of Shelby Tuby. Families can also enjoy Family Fort Night on February 17, with blanket forts, stories, and s’mores, while teens sign up for Cookie Wars, a cookie decorating competition.
There is always something for everyone and we look forward to seeing you at the library this month!
