It’s a new year and we are excited about a new program for adults! The Brown Bag Lunch History Program will be once a month. Patrons are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch and we’ll provide the drinks. We’ll cover a wide array of interesting local topics and events. Our first program will be “The Great Blizzard of 1978”. Join us for a presentation about how the blizzard affected the local area. Bring your own stories and photos to share, or just sit in and listen.
The “Tech It Easy” class time is changing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This month we will cover the website digital resource, Hobbies & Craft Source. Read more about it, on the Adult Programs Page.
We are happy to welcome back by popular demand, Jake Penwell for an evening presentation of “The Evolution of Funerals” on Monday Jan. 27th. Find the details under Special Events for Adults on the Adult Programs Page.
Children will have lots of fun at a Craft Carnival on Jan. 18th and the Teens will enjoy a Gaming Night on Jan. 23rd. Winter Reading for all ages will run Feb. 1st – 28th with registration opening on Jan. 27th. Stop by; come on in and warm up with a cup of coffee and a good book! We look forward to seeing all of you in the library this month!
